I think "corneal" could be used in a sentence to signify the refraction of light as an entirely biological technology. Sometimes the anti-evolution crazies say, "The eye is too complex to not have been invented." But if I said that that a movement of a lissome basketball player's legs and arms was "corneal," I would be saying that one would think it so great as to be technological, unnatural, inhuman, but actually by definition actually those very things.
Some would prefer G-d to be big and people to be small. I like the inverse.
