Christian blogs can open up the minds of non-believersActually, to create more Christians, it's much more effective to bring children up and sing them songs and tell them things like God is great and all-powerful, the Bible is his Word, non-believers are wrong and going to Hell, and the only salvation from sin is fervent belief in Jesus Christ, who was born, died, and on the third day was resurrected, among other miracles.
There will always be those who try to use their twisted logic to try to tell me and other believers that Jesus was not the saviour, but GOD will take care of themYou're right, the day of the Rapture will really stink for people like me, because Jesus will return to punish the unbelievers and send 144,000 straight to heaven. Maybe not exactly 144,000 -- maybe it's all the "believers," but who defines them? I'm guessing those that will be saved have similar beliefs to you, which is convenient. And maybe not a Rapture -- but let's be honest, the nonbelievers will be punished one way or another.
All that's required for salvation is belief in Jesus; forget about a non-believer's ethical behavior, love or kindness -- they're not really capable of those things because they're not believers. Too bad for those billions of non-Christians in the world. Very sound logic.
Count me out. Christianity is a complex house of cards that stands on leaps of logic -- i.e. faith. The use of logic undercuts the whole belief system.
