Morrissey, "Everyday is Like Sunday"
Everyday Is Like Sunday Lyrics

Everyday is like Sunday
Everyday is silent and grey

---

It's interesting that most of the websites say that this is how Morrissey spelled "everyday," which is an adjective. He's a writer, and a reader, so I'm surprised that the spelling is not "every day," which would seem to be more correct. That said, having the word be "everyday" turns the meaning of the song in a possible different direction. Is "Sunday" just an adjective, too? Indeed, saying "like Sunday" references not a noun but a feeling, which is like saying, "everyday is like blue."
