Really funny how the US pouring tax money into Iraq, where infrastructure is being built at a snail's pace, make the US higher on a lot of the lists. "You break it, you own it," I guess.
The people that complain about France, Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Nordic countries -- what planet are they on? The principles of fairness, civil liberties and accountability have a direct impact on economic growth; rolling back the New Deal and socialism-inspired social programs just makes your country more unequal and suck more; "free trade" benefits those for home the trade is "free," i.e. those who can and will exploit.
Give me an America with clean air, no exceptions for anybody regarding the rule of law, protections for civil liberties, women's rights, excellent educational institutions and infrastructure.
