When I was in college, I discovered the music of Bob Dylan. I remember that I must have knew a couple of the songs, maybe the "Everybody Must Get Stoned" song. But...I can't rememer what it is that got me started. It may have been that I downloaded "Shelter From the Storm," a more-energetic version than appears on Blood on the Tracks. Nevertheless, my memory is one of feeling a halo atop my head, blessed with discovery of an artist and an art form that I could latch on to and could offer me meaning.
